I knew the Gervase family when I grew up in Elizabeth. Lisa and Deb were friends and I knew her parents well too. I was very fond of the whole family and friends with Debbie. It was a shock to hear of her untimely death from cancer.
My condolences to the families for this terrible loss of such a nice person. May she rest in peace.
Sincerely, Rose Apriglano Kraemer

Our sincere condolences to the Gervase and Kirk families. Deb was a wonderful person. We have so many cherished memories of our CYO days. We spent so much time at Deb’s and on Sunday nights her dad treated us to his meatball sandwiches. These wonderful memories of time spent with Deb will remain in our hearts forever. We love you Deb!

We saw Saturday Night Fever 5 times; then we went to The Jetport on Friday nights to practice our dance moves. I was in town a few years back and ran into Lisa at Michelino's. I asked about Deb. Lisa called her. Within 10 minutes, Ed and Debbie walked in to say hello. That's the kind of gal she was. When I say that Debbie Gervase-Kirk was one of Elizabeth's finest, I am not exaggerating. Rest well, beautiful angel. You loved and are loved so very well and will be missed so very much.
