Eleanor (nee DeMartino) Scaff, 82, of Manahawkin, NJ passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was born and raised in Elizabeth, NJ, and moved to Manahawkin, NJ in 2005, where she lived the remainder of her life. For over 20 years, Eleanor worked as a secretary for Abba Products in Elizabeth and Hillside, NJ. She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed going down to the casinos in Atlantic City. However, her greatest love was her family and the time she spent with them.

Eleanor is predeceased by her husband of 39 years Louis J. Scaff, Jr., her sisters; Rose Koch. Laura Coggins, and Josephine Miller, and her brothers; Frank and Michael DeMartino.

She is survived by her sons; Joseph Scaff and his wife, Lisa, Nicholas Scaff and his wife, Rosaria, Louis Scaff and his wife, Karen and Michael Scaff and his wife, Damarys, her sister, Lucy DeMartino, and her grandchildren; Tyler, Hailey, Nicholas, Christopher, Olivia, Christian, Louie, Andrew, Aiden, Evan, Gabriel, and Adam.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, from 4-8 p.m. and Wednesday, May 31, 2023, from 9-9:45 a.m. at the Petruccelli Funeral Home, 232 Christine Street, Elizabeth, NJ 07202 with a funeral mass to follow at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church, 853 Third Ave., Elizabeth NJ, 07202. Burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Hillside, NJ.
