The Plan of the Master Weaver
Our lives are but fine weavings
That God and we prepare,
Each life becomes a fabric planned
And fashioned in His care.
We may not always see just how
The weavings intertwine,
But we must trust the Master's hand
And follow His design,
For He can view the pattern
Upon the upper side,
While we must look from underneath
And trust in Him to guide;…
Sometimes a strand of sorrow
Is added to His plan,
And though it's difficult for us,
We still must understand
That it's He who fills the shuttle,
It's He who knows what's best,
So we must weave in patience
And leave to Him the rest….
Not till the loom is silent'
And the shuttles cease to fly
Shall God unroll the canvas
And explain the reason why-
The dark threads are as needed
In the Weaver's skillful hand
As the threads of gold and silver
In the pattern He has planned.
To One In Sorrow
Let me come in where you are weeping, friend,
And let me take your hand,
I, who have known a sorrow such as yours,
can understand.
Let me come in--I would be very still
Beside you in grief;
I would not bid you cease your weeping, friend,
Tears bring relief.
Let me come in--I would only breath a
prayer, and hold your hand,
For I have known a sorrow such as yours,
and understand.
He Gathers Every Teardrop
Regardless of the circumstance, regardless of the fear
Regardless of the pain we bear, regardless of the tear
Our God is ever in control, performing as He should
And He has promised in His word, to work things for our good
But as a loving Father would, He sometimes lets us cry to
cleanse the hurt out of our heart, to wash it from our eye.
Yet gently gathers He the tears within His hands to stay.
Put thou my tears into thy bottle, are they not in thy book? Psalms 56:8
Since before any of us were born, God planned for us to share
our lives with each other. He knew exactly how our strengths
and our weakness would balance one another, and through our
depth of love, understanding and commitment we would learn to
be developed through the hard times and that mutual trust and
respect would be born as a result of over coming the trials
together. He knew that we would laugh together and cry
together. He knew we needed each other to hug, to help, to
teach, to serve, to love.
Her Journey’s Just Begun
Don’t think of her as gone away, her journey’s just begun, life holds so many facets this earth is only one. Just think of her as resting from sorrows and the tears in a place of warmth and comfort where there are no days and years. Think how she must be wishing that we could know today how nothing but our sadness can really pass away. Think of her as living in the hearts of those she touched for nothing ever loved is ever lost, and she was loved so much.
E. Brenneman
As We Remember Them
In the rising of the sun and in its going down, we remember them.
In the blowing of the wind and in the chill of winter, we remember them.
In the opening of the buds and in the warmth of summer, we remember them.
In the rustling of the leaves and the beauty of Autumn, we remember them.
In the beginning of the year and when it ends, we remember them.
When we are weary and in need of strength, we remember them.
When we have joys to share, we remember them.
So long as we live, they too shall live, for they are now apart of us, as we remember them.
"By Calling Us Home,
God is doing what any
Father would do He is
Providing a better
place to rest"
To My Dearest Family:
Some things I'd like to say
But first of all to let you know
That I arrived okay
I'm writing this from Heaven
Where I dwell with God above
Where there is no more tears or sadness there
Is just eternal love
Please do not be unhappy
Just because I'm out of sight
Remember that I'm with you
Every morning, noon and night
That day I had to leave you
When my life on Earth was through
God picked me up and hugged me
And He said I welcome you
It's good to have you back again
You were missed while you were gone
As for as your dearest family
They'll be here later on
I need you here so badly
As part of My big plan
There's so much that we have to do
To help mortal man
Then God gave me a list of things
He wished for me to do
And foremost on the list of mine
Is to watch
And care for you
And I will be beside you
Everyday and week and year
And when you're sad
I'm standing there
To wipe away the tear
And when you lie in bed at night
The days chores put to flight
God and I are closest to you
In the middle of the night
When you think of my life on Earth
And all those loving years
Because you're only human
They are bound to bring you tears
But do not be afraid to cry
It does relieve the pain
Remember there would be no flowers
Unless there was some rain
I wish that I could tell you
Of all that God has planned
But if I were to tell you
You wouldn't understand
But one thing is for certain
Though my life on Earth is over
I am closer to you now
Than I ever was before
And to my very many friends
Trust God knows what is best
I'm still not far away from you
I'm just beyond the crest
There are rocky roads ahead of you
And many hills to climb
But together we can do it
Taking one day at a time
It was always my philosophy
And I'd like it for you too
That as you give unto the World
So the World will give to you
If you can help somebody
Who is in sorrow or in pain
Then you can say to God at night
My day was not in vain
And now I am contented
That my life it was worthwhile
Knowing as I passed along the way
I made someone smile
So if you meet somebody
Who is down and feeling low
Just lend a hand to pick him up
As on your way you go
When you are walking
Down the street
And you've got me on your mind
I'm walking in your footsteps
Only half a step behind
And when you feel the gentle breeze
Or the wind upon your face
That's me giving you a great big hug
Or just a soft embrace
And when it's time for you to go
From that body to be free
Remember you're not going
You are coming here to me
And I will always love you
From the land way up above
I'll be in touch again soon
PS God sends His Love

My first memory of Mrs.Scaff would be the first time I went over to their home and barely spoke any English and she said to me , Joe come in the kitchen and don’t be “Bashful”…I didn’t know what that meant and froze!.. I’ll never forget that moment or word… she was just a nice sweet woman and welcoming person that I got to know and was definitely one of the Cooler moms!
