Dorothy(Dotty) Nascondiglio, 96, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Dupont, Pennsylvania, and grew up in Brooklyn, New York. Dotty moved to Elizabeth, New Jersey in 1947 where she lived until 2021, when she relocated to Westborough, Massachusetts.

Dotty was a member of the Salesian Cooperators, Saint Anne's Rosary Society, the Retired Men and Ladies' Club of Elizabeth, and was a president of Saint Anthony's CYO. She also was a Eucharistic Minister and belonged to Saint Anthony's Altar Guild and Senior Citizens. Dotty was a social butterfly who enjoyed being with family and friends.

She is predeceased by her husband of 44 years, Rosario Nascondiglio, and her son, Russell Nascondiglio. Dotty was the youngest of 14 children and is predeceased by all her siblings.

She is survived by her sons Kenneth and Thomas, her 6 grandchildren, and 4

great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held at the Petruccelli Funeral Home, 232 Christine St, Elizabeth, NJ on Monday, March 20, 2023, from 8:30-10:15 am with a funeral mass to follow at 11:00 am at Saint Anthony of Padua R.C. Church,853 Third Avenue, Elizabeth, NJ. Entombment will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Newark, NJ.
