Giuseppina(Pina) (nee La Russa) Augugliaro, 86, of Elizabeth, NJ passed away peacefully on Monday, February 20, 2023, with her loving family by her side. She was born in Tunisia and moved to Italy when she was a toddler. Mrs. Augugliaro emigrated to Elizabeth, NJ in 1963, where she resided for the remainder of her life. She was a member of the Retired Men and Ladies' Club of Elizabeth, Saint Anthony's Senior Citizens, and the Italian American Club of Roselle. Mrs. Augugliaro loved to cook and share her wonderful food with everyone. Whether she was home or out visiting friends or family, she ensured no one left with an empty stomach or empty-handed, always sending everyone off with delicious treats to take home.

She is predeceased by 2 of her brothers.

Mrs. Augugliaro is survived by her husband of 60 years, Joseph Augugliaro, her brother Anthony La Russa, her children: Richard and Mary Augugliaro, and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2022, from 3-7 p.m. and Friday, February 24, 2023, from 9-9:45 a.m. at the Petruccelli Funeral Home, 232 Christine Street, Elizabeth, NJ 07202 with a funeral mass to follow at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church, 853 Third Ave., Elizabeth NJ, 07202. Burial to follow at Saint Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia, NJ.
