JoAnne C. (nee Yanik) Mularz, 83, of Lakewood, NJ passed away peacefully on Monday, May 23, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. JoAnne was born in Kingston, PA, and relocated to Elizabeth, NJ when she was 18 years old, after meeting and falling in love with her future husband, Ted Mularz. She was a Shipping Supervisor for Simmons Mattress Company, in Linden, NJ for 30 years. Joanne was a diehard Yankees fan from the age of six and enjoyed trips to Atlantic City. She loved children and volunteered at Saint Dominic School in Brick, NJ in the lunchroom and was affectionately called “Grandma JoJo”. Joanne was always there for her family and supported them however she could, whether it was picking up grandchildren from school or taking care of the family dogs. Her family meant everything to her.

She is predeceased by her husband of 47 years, Ted Mularz, her infant daughter, JoAnne Mularz, and her brother Joseph Yanik.

JoAnne is survived by her children; Lisa Ciesielski, and Joseph(Marysella) Mularz, her grandchildren; Adam, Krystina, Bishop, Jericho and Fiona, her future granddaughter-in-law, Frances, and her sister, Marilyn(Walter) Salagaj. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and great-nephews.
