Carmine T. Senese, 80, of Elizabeth, NJ, passed away on Sunday, November 15, 2020.
Carmine was born on the island of Ischia in Italy and emigrated to Elizabeth, NJ in 1955 where he resided for most of his life. In 1959, Carmine started his career in the Supermarket business as a Produce Manager with Food Fair which transitioned into Pantry Pride, and then Foodtown where he retired after 33 years of service.
He was a former member of the Vallatese Club of Elizabeth, NJ as well as the United Food and Commercial Workers Local 1262. Carmine was also a member of the Retired Men and Ladies Club of Peterstown. Some of his favorite pastimes were playing cards, bocce ball, and watching horse racing. He also enjoyed telling stories to family and friends,and had a great sense of humor. His greatest joy though was spending quality time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his daughters; Gina Senese, and Frances Gann and her husband Gary, his grandchildren; Jason, Kyle and Kiersten, and his former wife, Lorraine Senese.
