Salvatore Servidio, 87, of Elizabeth, NJ loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 surrounded by his loving family.
Sal was born in Italy, and moved to Elizabeth, NJ in 1977 where he lived the remainder of his life. His family was in construction in Italy, and he followed in their footsteps by becoming a master mason. He was self-employed and loved his work which he did for 33 years from 1977-2012 when he retired. Sal cherished his family and enjoyed dancing.
Sal is survived by his wife of 63 years, Anna Rosa (Pompeiano) Servidio, his son, Domenico Servidio and his wife, Martha Bastidas, his daughter, Carmela Muscaritolo, and her husband, Rocco, his sister, Margherita DeSantis, his granddaughter, Tania DiPietro and her husband Dario, his grandsons, Giuseppe and Salvatore Muscaritolo, his great-grandchildren; Lorenzo, Nicolo and Valentina DiPietro and his nephew, Mario DeSantis.
A visitation will be held on Friday, October 8, 2021 at 10:00am with a funeral service to follow at 12:45 pm at the Petruccelli Funeral Home, 232 Christine Street, Elizabeth, NJ 07202.
Cremation will be private.
