Vita (Marsello) Rose, 94, of Toms River, NJ passed away peacefully on Friday, August 20, 2021. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2021, at 5:00 pm at St. Anthony of Padua, R.C. Church, 853 Third Avenue, Elizabeth, NJ. Vita was born in Elizabeth, NJ in 1927 where she resided for 53 years before moving to Linden, NJ in 1980. She relocated to Toms River, NJ in 1996 where she lived the remainder of her life. Vita worked as a corporate accounting clerk for Wakefern Food Corporation, in Elizabeth for 15 years retiring in 1990. She was also the former president and treasurer of the Peach Orchid Senior Club of Linden, NJ as well as being a member of their entertainment committee. She is predeceased by her parents, Vito and Frances (Pepitone) Marsello, and her brother, John Marsello. She is survived by her daughter; Donna (Damon) Hixon; her grandchildren; Scott (Melissa) Hixon, Jodie Gabel, and Brian Hixon (Brittany Nagy), her great-grandchildren; Sean Fenner, Tyler Fenner, Simon Gabel, Sarah Rose Gabel, and Carson (Tabby) Miller, and her two great-great granddaughters and several special friends.
