Mary King, 101, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 20, 2024. Born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, Mary lived the majority of her life in her hometown before moving to Keyport, New Jersey a year ago. She was a communicant of Saint Anthony's R.C. Church and a former member of Saint Anne's Rosary Society. Mary cherished her time with her family, finding joy in the presence of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She especially loved the holidays, when her home would be filled with warmth, laughter, and togetherness. Mary's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She is predeceased by her husband, Joseph King, and her son, John King. She is survived by her son Joseph King, Jr. and daughter-in-law, Debra King, her grandchildren; Mark, Theressa, and Marissa, her great-grandchildren; Matthew, Justin, Amber, Allyson, Peyton, Austin, and Mackenzie, her nieces, Dorothy and Kathy and her great-nieces, Rachel and Kristine. A visitation will be held at the Petruccelli Funeral Home, 232 Christine St, Elizabeth, NJ on Friday, October 4, 2024, from 9-9:45 am with a funeral mass to follow at 10:30 am at Saint Anthony of Padua R.C. Church,853 Third Avenue, Elizabeth, NJ. Burial will be at Saint Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia, NJ.
