Charles J. Higgins, Sr.,82, of Elizabeth, NJ passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 3, 2021. Charles was a lifelong resident of Elizabeth, NJ, and was a maintenance worker for 25 years with the City of Elizabeth in the Recreation Department. He is predeceased by his wife of 51 years Mildred(Russo) Higgins and his son Charles J. Higgins, Jr. Charles is survived by his daughter, Mildred Manresa, his son, David Higgins, his brother, William(Billy) Higgins, his grandchildren; Arnaldo and Eric Manresa, Charles J. Higgins, III, and Cody and Madison Higgins, and his great-grandchildren, Tyler and Riley Manresa.
