Mary Anne Rita Hudson, 95, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, July 13, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born in New York, NY, Mary Anne moved to Elizabeth, NJ, in 1940, where she lived the remainder of her life. She began her career as an auditor at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York from 1950 to 1952 before joining United Counties Trust Company in Elizabeth. There, she worked for 28 years as a secretary in the Consumer Loans Department, retiring in 1989. Following her retirement, she continued to work as a medical secretary at Saint Elizabeth’s Hospital from 1989 until 2002.

Mary Anne was an active member of several organizations, including the Quarter Century Club, the Retired Men and Ladies’ Club of Elizabeth, and the Saint Anne’s Rosary Society.

She was predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Albert Hudson; her son, Albert Hudson Jr.; her sister, Josephine Borsellino; and her brothers, Philip, Carmine, and Sonny Borsellino.

She is survived by her daughter, Arlene Capparruva; her grandchildren, Albert Hudson III, Tracy, Robert, and Mellissa Capparruva, and Mack and Casey O'Dell; and her great-grandchildren: Jalissa, Gianna, and Ginette Hudson.

A visitation will be held at the Petruccelli Funeral Home, 232 Christine Street, Elizabeth, NJ, on Friday, July 18, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:45 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at Saint Anthony of Padua R.C. Church, 853 Third Avenue, Elizabeth, NJ.

Cremation will be private.
